Age Birth to 6 months. Stokke: birth to 6 months. A separately sold kit extends use to 5 years. Recall check No current recall found for this model at UK OPSS, EU Safety Gate or US CPSC on 3 November 2026. Oval Sleepi cribs with foam mattresses sold in the US from September 2006 to March 2007 were recalled in 2007. That notice is about older stock, but check the model number on a second-hand one. How we check
Mattress check The Lullaby Trust asks for firm, entirely flat and waterproof, with no gaps at the edges. Makers don't always say all of this, so ask before you buy.
Second-hand Second-hand can work: check it for damage, missing parts and recalls first. Fit a new mattress: the Lullaby Trust advises one for each baby.
