How we check for recalls
Each product in the catalog is looked up on three official lists. A live recall covering the model takes it out.
81 products were checked. The oldest check is dated 3 November 2026. The date beside a product is the day we looked, and a recall could come out after that.
Where we look
- UK Office for Product Safety and Standards. Product recalls and safety reports for the UK. The main list for a UK buyer.
- EU Safety Gate. The EU's weekly alerts. Many of the same models are sold in the UK.
- US Consumer Product Safety Commission. US sales only, so a US recall may not cover the UK model. We read it as something to look into.
What the check can't tell you
"None current" means we found no notice on those lists that day covering what is on sale now. It doesn't mean a product is safe, and it doesn't replace the maker's instructions. Where an older notice covered earlier stock of the same name, its page says so, because a second-hand one could still be affected. A recall can cover only certain batches, so a record may not apply to the one you have.
If you already own one, register it with the maker, as that is how they reach you. You can search the UK list yourself by brand. Second-hand buyers should do this every time.
