Age: Birth to 6 months. IKEA: recommended for ages 0-6 months, stop when the child starts to sit up.
Recall check: No current recall found for this model at UK OPSS, EU Safety Gate or US CPSC on 3 November 2026. How we check
Mattress check: The Lullaby Trust asks for firm, entirely flat and waterproof, with no gaps at the edges. Makers don't always say all of this, so ask before you buy.
Second-hand: Second-hand can work: check it for damage, missing parts and recalls first. Fit a new mattress: the Lullaby Trust advises one for each baby.
