BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Harmony
Padded back, fits XS to XXL
Four positions, a padded back panel and a pressure-relieving waist belt, up to 15 kg. It costs more than the One for the same weight limit. You pay for the padding and the wider XS to XXL fit.
7.8/10
It's for a parent who'll carry often and for long stretches, especially if two adults share it. It isn't for occasional use, or for anyone who wants a simple fit with no fiddling.
Good
- Padded back support, waist belt and shoulder straps, by BabyBjörn's own description
- Rated from 3.2 to 15kg, so one carrier can run from birth to about 3 years
- Mumsnet's tester gave it 5 out of 5 for comfort on long, hilly walks
- Machine washable at 40C, by BabyBjörn's care instructions
Less good
- Costs almost twice as much as BabyBjörn's own Mini
- Mumsnet's tester gave it 3 out of 5 for adjustability and for ease of use
- A Mother&Baby tester found the comfort less good with older babies and toddlers
- BabyBjörn says to wait until a year before carrying on your back
